Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold in chocolate chips, then drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, cool before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the sheet.
