- Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, lemon zest, juice, cinnamon, and salt.
- Place bread cubes in a greased dish and sprinkle blueberries on top.
- Pour egg mixture over bread and blueberries; refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with maple syrup if desired.
Notes
For best results, prepare the casserole the night before to allow flavors to meld.
