Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 can pure pumpkin puree SEE NOTES
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and wet ingredients in another bowl. Combine them gently.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes.
  4. Let cool before glazing with a mixture of powdered sugar and maple syrup.

Notes

For a better flavor, use fresh spices and real maple syrup.
