  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium if you prefer
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 cups cooked rice white, brown, or cauliflower

  • shredded carrots
  • cucumber slices

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned; drain fat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Serve over rice and top with desired toppings.
