Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan with brown butter.
- Melt 30 ml brown butter until golden, then cool.
- Mix brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin, eggs, milk, cooled brown butter, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Whisk dry ingredients and fold into wet mixture. Pour into pan and bake 40-45 mins.
- While baking, brown 25 g butter and mix with maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk to make glaze.
- Cool bread 15 mins, then pour glaze over. Serve slices.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter to keep the bread light and moist.
