Roast Spaghetti Squash Whole

A simple and healthy way to enjoy spaghetti squash by roasting it whole and scraping out tender strands.

Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 whole spaghetti squash
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash, prick, and rub the squash with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roast for 45-60 minutes until tender and golden.
  4. Cool slightly, cut in half, remove seeds, and scrape flesh into strands.

Notes

Use a fork to easily scrape out the spaghetti-like strands.
