Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook sausage until browned, then drain.
- Mix cream cheese, eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread hashbrowns in a greased 9x13 inch dish, layer sausage, then pour egg mixture on top.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the casserole and bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with green onions if desired, then serve.
Notes
For a healthier option, use turkey sausage and low-fat cheese.
