Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Green onions optional
Other
  • 30 oz frozen hashbrowns

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook sausage until browned, then drain.
  2. Mix cream cheese, eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread hashbrowns in a greased 9x13 inch dish, layer sausage, then pour egg mixture over.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden.
  5. Let cool slightly, garnish with green onions if desired, then serve.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the egg mixture.
