Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook sausage until browned, then drain.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and add to egg mixture with sausage and half of cheese. Mix gently.
  4. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch dish, top with remaining cheese and green onions.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden. Cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs or hot sauce.
