Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 lime juice of lime
Slaw
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt
Crema
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime juice of lime
  • zest of 1 lime lime zest
  • pinch salt
Other
  • 8-10 small corn tortillas
  • as needed extra lime wedges
  • optional avocado slices or hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Toss shrimp with oil, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook shrimp in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side.
  3. Mix slaw ingredients and let sit to soften.
  4. Stir together crema ingredients.
  5. Warm tortillas and assemble tacos with slaw, shrimp, crema, and extras.

Notes

For extra flavor, add avocado slices or hot sauce as desired.
