- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns. Cook for 5–7 minutes until fully browned.
- Stir in the garlic and onion, cooking another 2 minutes until soft and fragrant.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine.
- Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, combining until the sauce thickens—about 3–4 minutes.
- Add the uncooked pasta to the pot. Make sure the pasta is mostly covered by the sauce. Add a splash of water or broth if needed. Cover and cook according to package directions (usually 8–10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
- Once pasta is tender and sauce is creamy, remove from heat.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
