Ingredients
  

Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 can cherry pie filling 21 oz can
Cake Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 oz box
Butter
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
Pecans
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans optional
Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon optional
Whipped Cream or Ice Cream
  • for serving

Method
 

  1. Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray. Pour cherry filling inside.
  2. Mix cake mix, melted butter, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour over cherries.
  3. Sprinkle pecans on top if desired. Cover and cook on high 2-3 hours or low 4-5 hours.
  4. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
