Method
- Sear steaks seasoned with cajun seasoning in oil over medium-high heat until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Set aside.
- Reduce heat, melt butter, add shrimp, and cook until pink, about 1-2 minutes per side. Set aside.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about a minute.
- Add broth and deglaze the pan.
- Add cream, dijon mustard, and cajun seasoning; bring to a boil and simmer for a minute.
- Mix in cheese and let it melt into the sauce.
- Mix in lemon juice, parsley, and shrimp; serve over the steaks!
Notes
Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your preferred level of spiciness. Serve with a side of mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the delicious sauce.
