Fruits
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
Cake Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 oz
Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Liquid
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine strawberries and sugar; let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch dish, sprinkle cake mix over, then drizzle with melted butter.
  4. Mix water and vanilla, pour over the top, then bake for 45-50 minutes.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
