  • 1 pound fresh strawberries hulled
  • 1 cup sweetened whipped cream
  • Mini chocolate chips or sprinkles for eyes
  • melted white chocolate Optional: for securing hats

Method
 

  1. Cut the bottom of each strawberry to create a flat base.
  2. Cut off the top third of each strawberry to create Santa's hat.
  3. Pipe or spoon whipped cream onto the base of the strawberry.
  4. Place the strawberry 'hat' on top of the whipped cream.
  5. Add a small dollop of whipped cream to the tip of the hat.
  6. Use mini chocolate chips or sprinkles to create Santa's eyes.
  7. Optional: Use melted white chocolate to secure the hats if desired.
  8. Serve immediately or chill for later.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, firm strawberries. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
