Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
Notes
For extra softness, slightly underbake and let cookies cool on the baking sheet.
