  • 2 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a sprinkle of toasted pecans on top before baking.
