Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix melted butter with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
- Pat turkey dry, rub with Cajun butter mixture, including under the skin.
- Stuff cavity with lemon halves, onion, garlic, and herbs. Roast on a rack, basting every 30 mins. Remove foil last 30-45 mins for crisp skin.
- Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), about 3-4 hours. Rest before carving.
