Method
- Mix melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
- Add flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto parchment-lined sheets and top with extra chips.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden. Let sit 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let sit on the pan for a few minutes.
