Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix pumpkin, sugars, oil, eggs, and water until combined.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients; fold in nuts and chocolate chips if using.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
