Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment.
- Mix flour and baking soda in a bowl; set aside.
- Cream butter, sugars, and salt until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients; fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough onto sheets, bake 10-12 mins until edges are golden.
- Cool cookies on racks before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and cool on sheets.
