Tuna Melt Wrap

A quick and easy tuna melt wrap perfect for a light lunch or snack. This recipe combines classic tuna salad with melted cheddar cheese in a warm, toasted tortilla.

  • 1 can tuna, drained (5 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon chopped red onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Lay out the tortillas.
  3. Spread the tuna mixture evenly over each tortilla.
  4. Top each with 2 slices of cheddar cheese.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll up tightly.
  6. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  7. Place the wraps in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Cut in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier wrap, add a dash of hot sauce to the tuna mixture.
