Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
Wet ingredients
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk (room temperature)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and gradually add sugar mixture.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla, then alternate adding milk and dry ingredients.
  5. Fill liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes. Cool before serving.
