Canned Peaches
  • 2 cans sliced peaches in syrup
Cake Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Chopped Pecans
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional) optional
Vanilla Ice Cream
  • for serving vanilla ice cream (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour peaches with syrup into a 9x13 inch dish, then sprinkle cake mix over.
  3. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top, then sprinkle cinnamon and pecans if using.
  4. Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden and set.
  5. Let cool slightly, then serve warm with ice cream if desired.
