  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) optional

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, honey (if using), lemon zest, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Whisk well until emulsified.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Whisk well before using.

Notes

For a smoother vinaigrette, use a blender or immersion blender to emulsify the ingredients.
