Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced against the grain)
Seafood
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Sauces and Oils
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Vegetables
  • 1 bell pepper bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot julienned carrot
Aromatics
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
Garnish
  • 2 green onions chopped
To taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Mix sliced steak with cornstarch and soy sauce, then set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak until browned, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, and vegetables until tender-crisp.
  4. Add cooked steak and shrimp to the pan, stir to combine, and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Use high heat for quick stir-frying to keep vegetables crisp and meat tender.
